UPDATE – 3/08/2016
In December 2015, after drilling and successful locating a quality hot water source, we submitted our geothermal water take and use hot water license application and we’re confident that construction would follow very quickly.

The development has been delayed because although our submission clearly stated we were applying for a take and use licence with reinjection of water after use, Southern Rural Water “mistakenly” refused the application and instructed us to join an auction to bid for a take and use licence without reinjection.

After intervention from our legal team and with the support of the Hon Martin Dixon MP, the state member for Nepean, Southern Rural Water finally agreed that they should accept our application for a take and use water licence with reinjection, the application is currently being processed by Southern Rural Water.

The delay is hopefully now resolved and construction of all infrastructures is planned for the beginning of 2017 with a planned opening of the facility in 2018.
